The seasons of our lives are in constant change. Nothing ever truly stays the same.
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace."
~Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Change is inevitable and can be good, but it can also be so hard.
Yet in the midst of change there is always one constant, one thing that never, ever changes. God.
He is the same today, yesterday and always.
And it is in Him that I can place my trust when changes occur in my life, when people come and go, and the changes hurt, causing the tears to flow and the heart to ache.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
~Ecclesiastes 3:11a
And through the tears I will still continue to count my blessings and be grateful for all that He has and will continue to do in my life...
#111 God's Word
#112 friendships
#113 a quiet house
#114 dinner with my boys
#115 new textbooks
#116 being cared for unconditionally
#117 shared laughter
#118 bills paid
#119 love
#120 reconnecting
What are you grateful for?
Blessings,
Amy
